'Le Rire Niais' (also called 'A l'Odeur de Punaise')
A Centifolia raised by Dupont before 1810. Stems to 3 ft (1 m). The flowers are double, pink, and medium-sized. An undistinguished rose with an unusual scent.
Hardy to -13°F (-25°C), in Zone 5.

Summer Blush. A new Alba hybrid with a red kordesii rose, raised by Sievers in Germany and introduced in 1988. It has strong-growing, arching stems to 5 ft (1.5 m). The flowers are bright red, fully double, and almost Gallica-like, produced only in early summer with a strong sweet scent. Hardy to -30°F (-34° C), Zone 4.

'West Green' A Damask of unknown origin, grown in the collection at Mottisfont Abbey, southern England. Stems to 5 1/2 ft tall, with only very small thorns on the stalks. Red & pale pink buds, long sepals, large flowers loosely double, bluish-pink & nodding on weak stems, healthy bush, with lush bright green foliage. Hardy to -13°F (-25°C), in Zone 5
