How long before (if ever) seedlings stop being "one cane wonders"?
This is my first year with raising roses from seeds and am really clueless.
I have a lot of climber parentage (4th of July & Ramblin' Red, all OP)
How do you keep them supported when they're still so tiny, yet tall enough to need support? (About 8"s right now)

Hi Confusedrose:

Climbers will branch, but tend to go up more than go out. It is their plant habit. When they get too tall, you can "pinch" them back to encourage branching. For support, I sometimes use bamboo stakes and tie roses to them.
