There is a typo on the breeder’s date of death. Same author, quoting 1964 and 1965?

Your datings of Aicardi roses relies on two valuable articles, one by Eva Mameli Calvino and another by the Director of the Sicilian Agricultural Institute, the latter causing you to date Primavera and Medusa as pre-1938. You will see, however, on p.614 of "Die Gardenwelt" of 1933 a report by the editor of Three New Italian Roses: Saturnia, Primavera and Medusa. I don't know whether the latter two were registered and introduced by Jackson and Perkins at a later date - as was Saturnia (1936) - but since the other two, according to the article, were given an Award of Merit at the Rome rose trials of 1933, it is best to change their breeding dates.
Best wishes
Andrew
