Looking for information on Mathias Leenders' life. Maybe our Dutch members have access to articles which are not accessible on the web.

My father had a rose that was originally bred by M. Leenders in 1951, named "Tawny Gold", introduced in the United States by Jackson and Perkins.  I have contacted them and they no longer carry or breed the rose.  I was hoping that perhaps you could help me locate a cutting of this rose?  Or perhaps a supplier who still carries it?  I have tried the usual search sites on the Internet without any success.  I would appreciate any help that you could give me.  I remember this rose vividly and would love to have it in my garden!  Thank you!   Karen Sanders,  3115 1/2 28th St, Rock Island , IL  61201 USA  e-mail: katiex3@netexpress.net
