Planted the Sarah Bernhardt peony today in the front flowerbed, in front of a very tall crepe myrtle. Hoping it will have the right amount of sun and shade.

Planted two Lavender Crush climbing roses today on either side of trellis in back yard. Would love to see a bush actually climb. Listed as having strong fragrance: citrus and old rose.
Did not survive, will replace with Carolina jasmine vine, 4-28-2024
