The roses have been out for a week.
The later bloomers are starting to bloom
early just like the rugosas. Great Maidens blush
hasn’t opened yet or Graham Thomas.
Alba Maxima has started but the color is
Less white than expected. There is a definite
Yellow tinge I’m not liking. Perhaps it fade to
a more acceptable white. Konigin von Denmark
Has started as well. Old moss hasn’t yet.
Yolanda the cardinal and la belle Sultan have started
Let’s not forget the carpet roses and variegated
Bourbon.
Trying to pot up all the Dahlias. Wow what was
I thinking bought way too many.
It’s like every year some things are doing great and

and fertilized at the right time.

The roses are looking great!! We’ve had regular rain
and I fertilized just at the right time. Lots of buds on
all the bushes. Alba maxima one of the 3 new
plantings has put on major height this year. The moss
Rose is doing alright it’s in a poor soil location and Graham Thomas
Managed to make it through the winter. Has a lot of
new side shoots which is encouraging. Austin roses
struggle in my garden. The explorer roses are huge.
