I've grown this rose for a couple of seasons in zone 5/6. It is a beautiful rose that keeps its color (no fading) throughout the season. It is very disease resistent, long lasting and stays intact after a rain storm. I never see this rose at garden centers but can assure you from someone who has grown this rose, it's a beauty.

What size is "Black Cherry" in your zone? I'm in zone 7, and knowing your zone will give me a good idea of how large it might grow here. Thanks, Victoria.

It's about 3.5'. I think at maturity it can grow to 4' to 5', according to the tag from Jackson & Perkins. It's a beautiful rose, very similar to Crimson Bouquet but deeper in color.
