I had High Hopes for several years. It continuously suffered from blackspot even when sprayed. The spring flush was nice but those few weeks didn't make up for the ugly yellow and spotty leaves, the long bare canes and the mediocre fragrance. I ended up taking High Hopes out and replacing it with something I like much better.
