I bought this as a band from Vintage last fall. Potted it up in a one gallon pot. In December, in my zone 8 garden, it put out a little spray of lovely pale yellow blooms in spite of the weather being 32 many nights, and very cold in the 40s on others. Today, Jan. 22, I looked at it and found another bud! And we have been having temps from 30s to 25 at night - very sunny days, cold and windy in the daytime. I have it in very good partial sun all day long, and started covering the outdoor shelf it is on with plastic at night. I am amazed at how anxious it is to bloom. I cant wait to see it when spring comes. So far this is a really delightful rose! I will report again after I see what it does during the growing season.

This rose is a real favorite of mine. Blooms look similiar to Mermaid - they have a scent that is not overpowering but one I love. It grows tall, is impervious to blackspot where I live, is tough and is an all around good rose. Its blooms are single and very large. It is a rose I plan to get a duplicate of in the future.
