Mine is also VERY tall! I had to get on a step ladder to cut the highest rose. I would guess it gets to about 8' tall here in Southern California. It has become one of my favorites as the blooms are soooo lovely and fragrant.

thie rose has no orange tone in it contrary to the presentation. Sory, but this is misleading.

Thanks ! We depend on HMF site guests to help "police" our photo contributions as it is impossible with our limited staff to review each and every photo. We have over 50,000 photos now and with the help of the rose community we hope to weed out the incorrect or poor quality ones. Thanks again for taking the time to participate with HMF - that's what this site is all about.

floralover, This rose is appearing anything other than purple. It is not my photo but I would say that this is the correct colour for 'Papa Meilland'. I grow 'Papa Meilland' and 'Papa Meilland, Climbing'. In fact it is probably more indicative of the colour than the one I took. I think that your monitor might need colour 'calibration' if this is appearing purple to you. I calibrate my monitor every week with a 'SpyderPro2'. I agree it is a beautiful photo and a beautiful rose. Cheryl

This is not Mirandy. Maybe Fragranr Cloud or Dolly Parton or some other orangey red
