Isabelle,

Kniffings is a small specialty nursery in El Cajon, California. You can find a listing under the NURSERIES tab on the navigation bar to the left.

Isabelle.......

If you click on the REFERENCES tab on the rose page, you will find that they describe the rose with varying shades of pink, from light pink to deep pink. Most agree that it is an atypical alba.

Isabelle.......

You may still have a mislabeled rose, but if you like it, it doesn't matter. It is possible that you have 'Maiden's Blush' instead of 'New Maiden's Blush'. MB appears to be more white with blush or light pink shading. I haven't grown any albas, so maybe someone from the rose community can give you better information. Check the REFERENCES on 'Maiden's Blush', it's a beautiful rose, no matter how many names it has been known by in rose history.

Lyn
