This rose was planted in 2010 and as of 5/27/13 it is 5ft+ tall and at least 10ft wide! No disease problems at all. SUPER vigorous! Beautiful arching spreading growth habit. It needs a lot of room. Rebloom is a bit slow and nothing like the first flush which is incredable!

I don't understand this rose. The photos in HelpMefind are white (and so is Trevor Griffiths' photo) and yet most references say blush pink.
(I also don't understand why Mr. Neal's comment of June 6, 2011 in which he mentioned an old gym sock fragrance for 'Daphne' is missing from the 'Daphne' file and yet is in Mr. Neal's file. Admin?)
Mr. Neal - how is the fragrance these days?

The buds of this rose are pale pink, but quickly fade to white as they open. In some of the attached photos, you can see pale pink in some of the buds and what must be freshly opened flowers. You have to look closely. I never noticed a bad fragrance myself, but will have to report back next time my Daphnes are in bloom.

Bambino is a micro-miniature with orange blooms

Thank you for your comment. I got the rose from a professional rose nursery and I myself cannot decide whether it truly is a Bambino or not. You might think that the flowers look big but the flowers are less than an inch. As you are the second person who commented that the rose doesn't look like a Bambino, I looked up "Bambino, Cl." in this site, and found that there is pink, no photos though. I also found Bambino (miniature, Dot, 1953) in this site. The photo changes every time I open the page but there is a photo of pink flowers just like mine. The photo is from Boronkay (Rose Garden Budateteny). There seems to be some mix-up even among professional nurseries.

I believe you are correct. It sure looks like yours is Bambino Cl. being a sport of Bambino (Dot). Although I am not an expert. Maybe someone with more experience than I will offer their opinion. It sure looks like it belongs under Bambino Cl. and yours would be the first and only pic! It looks like a lovely miniature and I hope you enjoy it. My apologies if my comment sounded like a snide remark. It wasn't intended that way.

Update on the fragrance of Daphne. I don't know if was the weather this year but the blooms didn't last but a few days and then turned brown and then they smelled like old gym socks or something. We had really cool and wet weather just when most of my roses started to bloom and then it got hot and stayed hot.
