I notice that ARE's website says it only blooms once, though the main entry here says it reblooms. Can anyone clarify?

If it is a Portland, or a Hybrid Perpetual, it should have some repeat. But it was a foundling rose so the class may not be quite correct. [The name "Moroccan Rose" is reminding me of Nancy Lindsay].

Hi Sarah. I haven't used this before. Getting acquainted. Hope you're well and get in touch sometime - soon. Allan
Have any good Chinas to recommend? I have some empty space and I planted a China: Hume's Blush, a couple of years ago that is doing great.

We jokingly refer to this rose as the 'Mendocino Monster' because it is enormous and viciously bites anyone who tries to walk past its long rambling canes. The large, very hooked prickles will snag and drag with a vengeance. But when it blooms...oh what a delightful display of soft, dainty, cloud-like large clusters! The canes in winter are a gorgeous shade of dark maroon, contrasting in a beautiful way to our snowfall.
