I have a beautiful bright yellow rose. The edges of the bud are pinkish. When opened and the bloom gets older, the pink is starting to show in the yellow of the petal. The bud is long. The leaves are a moderate green. It has a sweet smell. The new growth has many, many thorns, but the older part of the cane has large thorns. I have pics.

Thank you so much. I will look that up. I have been so curious. When the weather is hotter the pink tinge isn't as bright. The blooms are pretty big. I appreciate it so much. Jeri

I found several of these growing in the garden (in the shade, poor things) when we bought our house, and I moved them out into the sunshine where they have flourished! They are covered with blooms (in the northwest) from early to late season and have been very disease resistant. This is one of my favorites for the mixed gardens. I don't have any in my formal rose garden.
