Do you mean that this rose is mislabeled at Sangerhausen? Please compare with the other photos from this rosarium. It is the same rose.

Hello, seems that i am not correct: for me the Rosa gallica splendens is synonym for francofurtana. If this is not correct so one thing is, that al the Fotos like that from Waldgarten an mine are wrong here. But in that case the name 'francofurtana Kreiselrose' is not correct here als a synonym for francofurtana....

The synonym Francofurtana Kreiselrose is from the 1838 Nickels and 1833 Keller catalogues. There seems to be a differentiation between the "ordinary" Kreiselrose" (i.e. turbinata) and the 'Dornenlose Kreiselrose'.
