I posted a photo of Sanchette (ica). This rose doesn't correspond to the old descriptions. Origin of plant: La Campanella. Maybe it's possible to make a new entry for "Sanchette (ica)"?

My rose is no Gallica. Duchesse d'Orient blooms early in summer but there is also scattered later bloom. It shows Portland characteristics with very short flower stalks.

Thank you, we will change the class attribution. Do you have photos of the later blooms? Are they in late summer or early autumn? I am wondering whether it is actually the same as the hybrid perpetual (which can be a damask perpetual/Portland) 'Duchesse d'Orléans' by Quétier, which is also sold by Loubert. The only photo on HMF looks similar. Orléans became Orient? Anyway, there was never a Duchesse d'Orient.

Yes Jedmar, your suggestion, that Duchesse d'Orient and the Hybrid Perpetual Duchesse d'Orleans could be the same, is a very good possibility. I posted more photos of different plant parts and maybe there is someone who can add photos of Duchesse d'Orleans? My plant produces buds up to now - in late October, but they wo'nt get to bloom, because of our wet and cold climate. So there are only mummies.

This photo doesn't show Centifolia variegata but Belle des Jardins (Guillot 1872)

'Bouquet de Venus' at Sangerhausen seems to be 'Officinalis'.
