What has happened to Chamblees? It used to be a reliable source.

I believe the original owners retired. What happened after that IDK, I seem to remember some discussion here a while back and doubtless on other rose fora.

Hi There,
My name is John, I'm searching for a Cleopatra Rose. It's reddish pink in color with white accents. I've called around 50 growers and had to luck finding one.
We lost our cat, Fuzz Face, whom we often called Fuzzopatra. We're hoping to bury her ashes with a Cleopatra rose as a tribute.
Do any of you have a Cleopatra rose in your garden? If not, do you know anyone who might?
I thank you for any of your time and efforts with this. Have a great day!

John, on the far right of the tabs, there is one titled 'Buy From'. It shows that Heirloom Roses and Hortico have this. You may have to arrange for it to be propagated if their inventory is depleted. Good luck, Nancy

Hi Nancy, thank you for your response. I've tried Heirloom before and they don't have it. I don't see a "buy from" to the right of the tabs. Perhaps that's only seen if you have a premium membership?

The 2013-2014 Palatine catalog is showing an AARA date of 1967 for Valentia; but further down it says 1989 Kordes. I dont think it is what you are looking fot; but, you might call them to see.

Apparently Kordes recycled the name Valencia giving it to a rose obtained later on

Kordes recycles almost all of its names. Its sometimes very frustrating.
