I purchased this rose as "& Let Freedom Ring" from a reputable nursery - Regan the very best in my area.
It was purchased as an end of season filler at a great sale price to fill a vacancy in the red rose bed. This is a somewhat neglected bed behind the pool with native soil and minimal irigation. The previous occupant toppled from gopher nibbling so I wasn't expecting too much.
Wow!!! This bush is beautiful. Disease resistant and spectacular off-red blooms.
In a recent ARS show it was DQd for not being "& Let Freedom Ring". I was a bit defensive as it still had the tag. A knowledgable ARS member suggested it may be the sport Zach Nobles and after looking up Zach Nobles I agree this is a possibility. The color is more of an orangy/salmon red than a blue red.
I will likely exhibit under the Zach Nobles name to not get DQd again. It is a beautiful rose!

If anyone has similar experience please contact me.
