Branches - ehm, she's definitely.. painfully hairy. Long gloves needed when pruning.

Rose was planted during autumn 2016 in my garden in Liberec, Czech rep., zone 6b. It needed several years to properly root. First three years she was quite small - only about 1m height. Fourth year she finally started to climb up. This is the fifth season, she definitely had a slow start.
I can smell light and very pleasant fruity fragrance. Rose is completely healthy with light green foliage. Blooming is in various shades of rose, from darker to lighter, the oldest blooms are almost white. Good self-cleaning of spent blooms.

Blooming is in various shades of rose, from darker to lighter, the oldest blooms are almost white. This year is quite hot and it seems to me that the blooms are coloured more porcelain-ish way. during the cooler periods it blooms in more more intense pink. Good self-cleaning of spent blooms.

Sourire d'Antan in my garden zone 6a (some winters 5b), vigorously growing, nicely branched, with really stunning flowering period and hundreds of small rose hips during autumn. Very healthy, nice foliage. It does stand quite good on sun even though it has deeper shade of magenta colour.
