My first year Gospel is kind a burgundy red(must remove from my pink bed),lot of very good substance petals,globular 10 cm flowers,one per stem,short 60 cm bush by now,very healthy greyish blue leaves(despite of lot of mildew and blackspot in my no spray garden cause of the mild last winter),10 basal growth each with flower or bud totally indifferent to the last 4day of heavy rain.No fragrance enough to my nose by now.Tantau describe the color in his 2013 catalogue as ,,romantic pink'''and ,,deep purple on warm summer days turning to a strong burgundy colour on cooler days''.A very promising bush!
