Not the best photos by any means, just showing a cluster, almost 50 buds total on the cane in various stages of opening.
Note it's been hot and windy so there's some damage and some of the individual peduncles have been bent over from being blown around and caught on things.

Some blooms in the middle of summer. Fairly consistent behaviour here, 1 main bloom early spring, scattered bloom middle of summer and then a small bloom in autumn.
