I'm most into growing roses, tomatoes and fruit. I'm interested ONLY in roses with EXCELLENT disease resistance in my climate. Hot, dry, windy hilltop in zone 10, and loamy, non-acidic soil. I'm using worm compost & tea techniques, and doing a lot of espelier too. I tend to favor roses with striking multicolor qualities, especially in orange, coral and red.
