Hi galgal! Beautiful shot of Perle D’Or! Do you happen to remember what the fragrance was like? I read everything from “no fragrance” , to “very fragrant “. Was it spicy, by any chance? Thanks, Lisa

It is a light fresh damask! It is not super strong, but there are usually so many blooms, that it does waft in our humidity. It is a very strong fast grower (which I love) and grows upright. It is very drought tolerant & disease free! I planted mine so the sun would shine behind it and it makes the blooms glow. The foliage is a pretty bright green and makes a nice contrast with darker leaved roses. I have her planted under a limbed up pine and she gets part shade. She loves it.
