Climbing Piñata rose - May 2019, Northern California, Vacaville - Zone 9b -
Charming and hardy little climber that is a great bloomer (and perhaps why it is called "Piñata"?). Petals open with a beautiful bright yellow/orange center and intense deep orange tips. When picked to display indoors, the color gradually fades to pastel shades as they open. When left on the plant, the orange gradually fades and the tips turn to a much a darker orange-red. No noticeable fragrance. I believe this rose was created by the original J&P back in 1978. It is a climber that does not get too huge and out of control, and is one of my favorite roses I've enjoyed for many years.

Jeanne LaJoie Rose -
Vacaville, California - Zone 9b, May 2019 -
This dainty well behaved little climber stays small at around 5 or 6 feet tall here in Zone 9b. It blooms very heavily once in the spring, and then blooms off and on with fewer flowers for the rest of the season here. Flowers are not especially fragrant, but the little roses have a lovely shape.

Purple Tiger rose, grown in Zone 9b, Vacaville, California - May 2019. Beautiful cream and burgundy striped rose. Each rose is different; some will be mostly dark burgundy with a few cream stripes, and others will be cream with medium and dark stripes. Leaves tend to get powdery mildew sometimes, but it's a very beautiful and unique rose worthy of a little pampering.
