Be on the look out for Roses Unlimited. I have tried to contact them many times by email and telephone over the past three weeks and I've had no response

I've had the same issue -- no response to my email for over a month now. Guess I'll be ordering roses elsewhere...

The contact e-mail on Roses Unlimited website is roseunlmt@aol.com but recently this mid-November 2021 I got an e-mail from them at (roseunlmt@gmail.com) instead. It's best to include BOTH e-mail addresses when contacting Pat Henry at Roses Unlimited. Sometimes one of their e-mail works, sometimes the other doesn't.
Nurseries can't guarantee any plants until January, so they won't respond until Jan. Another own-root nursery stated that they won't take spring orders until March.

In the ARS Annual I received the other day the classified listing for Roses Unlimited includes BOTH e-mail addresses - so your advice is most apropos - just use both.

Today Dec. 1, 2021 roses are sold out fast on Roses Unlimited's website, which indicates which ones are sold-out. Francis Meilland is sold out, same with Landlust and other popular roses. Too bad that Austin roses are no longer offered at RU which makes it harder to choose fragrant and cold-hardy roses for my zone 5.

I spoke to the co-owner, Bill Patterson. Roses Unlimited is indeed operational, they've just been swamped with orders. Please be patient with them as they are not as large a nursery as some of the other places. I assure you they provide quality plants, I've never received an unhealthy one from them.

Agree on their large and healthy own-root roses. I have been ordering yearly from them since 2011, and I'm impressed with the size of their gallon-own-roots. This Nov. 2021 many are sold out fast compared to previous years .. so they are busier than normal.
