This is a color-corrected version of the image "Rose France" posted by user jedmar, from the book "Repertoire de couleurs" by René Oberthür, 1905. The color was corrected by me, using the same process that I used on the "Rose Nilsson" image.

This is a color-corrected version of the image "Rose Nilsson" posted by user jedmar, from the book "Repertoire de couleurs" by René Oberthür, 1905. The color correction was done by me, in the software program GIMP. I used the paper background as a guide for white balance. As a guide for the actual color tones, I first used the description of Tones 1 and 2 as ""Reverse of petals of the heart of the rose La France", combined with photos posted by users Mila & Jul and Huyustus. And I secondly used Webster's dictionary definition of "rose Nilsson" as "deep pink that is bluer, lighter, and stronger than average coral (see CORAL sense 3b) and bluer and deeper than fiesta or begonia".
