FeralBlossom
New Zealand
From the Pacific Northwest of North America I've made my home in one of the sunniest places in New Zealand. I am one of few people who misses the rain and bemoans the sunny winters here. It has made gardening much more of an art form though as almost nothing here behaves as labels indicate - and while it's still strange that roses might be blooming through the winter, I appreciate it greatly. My mother participated in the local Master Gardeners outreach program at our local university, and my father had his own landscape business when I was in elementary school, so I've always been around greenery but took a while to find my own way in. Mainly this has been as a compliment and hands on approach to my aromatherapy training and interest in folklore.
November 2022 - became convenor to our lovely Heritage Roses Nelson group.
