the gopher got mine a few years back. If anyone know where to get a replacement, let me know. Mine came from Vintage gardens.

Anyone growing this in a partial shade location? I've about run out of sunny spots, except for full afternoon sun, which is no good for roses in our 95-110 degree summers.

Won't likely be as glorious as in full sun, but I've observed two large, sturdy specimens growing right next to a wall which does provide partial shade. Since your summers are hot I don't think you'll have many issues. I have observed black spot on these plants frequently, but it is not one to defoliate, you'll just have, well, some black spots. specially if your heat is dry rather than wet. It should live! I think this would be much more of an issue if your summers were mild. Roots very easily too. I have 8 new plants with roots now, cut the stems in late December. If you at some point get a sunny spot, root a cutting and put it there haha.
