To anyone who makes the misfortune of growing this rose, and i say that dearly, my biggest piece of advice is that its not sudden rosettes its just a basal growth. Every year this rose has caused me anxiety and this year it cost me abt 2 months of acclimation for new roses bc its new growth was so spiky and weird i put the whole area in quarantine

credit where credit is due; I have not grown this rose for long, but it has matched the expectations this page built. In the few months since ive bought the rose from Burlington, it has attempted to thrive and recently sent out three "mini-blooms" despite the desert heat. similar to the photos others have provided, the color is a pretty consistent orange-ish brownish that will rapidly bleach out in the heat & sun. It has stayed a very tiny bush, but interestingly, does seem to be establishing itself if that makes sense. All in all, if you have the space, money, and experience and are looking for a latte-colored rose, i would not not recommend this rose, will update as needed. *I also second the shaded lighting

Pleasant little thing; nice blooms that turn bright red in the sun and dark brown with the cold from what I'd seen. Died in the 30+ days of heat this year, hopefully I can grow it again sometime in the future

Maybe it's because I had this rose in full sun, but after 2-3 days the blooms tended to bleach fully white before turning a slight green. does anyone else's rose do that?
