Star of the Republic rose photo
Rose photo courtesy of cgurtler
Arizona 8b, blooms easily withstand up to 106 temps and still last on the bush for 3-5 days without wilt/crisping. The orange center does fade to a more pastel color in heat but still beautiful to me. This pic taken when temp ranges were high at 103 and day 2 on the bush

Full Sail rose photo

Read many comments this rose is difficult/can’t handle the heat. This is actually the only rose in my garden that can seem to tolerate Arizona 8b heat and seems to like it better. It doesnt ball or wilt and seems to flush more in the summer. Seems to handle humid monsoon season as well. Incredibly fragrant and looking very creamy while getting ready to open.
