You probably don't have irrigation in the garden and the rose saves water. The foundation in Malta is probably limestone. Thanks for sharing!

Professor Vasil Staykov is a Bulgarian hybridizer who worked on selective breeding and preserving of rose cultivars in the “Research Institute of Rose and Essential Oil Plants” in the town of Kazanlak as well as in the former “ Floriculture research center” in the village of Negovan, Sofia district. In collaboration with Ivan Kalaydzhiev and Hristo Chorbadzhiyski, Prof. V. Staykov introduced new hybrid rose varieties- Hybrid Tea Roses, Floribundas and Grandifloras with the beautiful Bulgarian names Srebra, Rada, Boryana, Mariya, Botev and others. The rose cultivar Marista, introduced by Prof. Staykov, won a gold medal at the 1981 exhibition in Erfurt. The cultivar Marista was named after Prof. Staykov’s wife - Mariya Staykova.

I note 'Srebra' and 'Boryana' are already listed by HelpMeFind.
I am not sure if the spelling of a rose is 'Mariya' or Marista'?
Do you have 'Rada' and 'Botev' in hand Jedmar, or shall I add them?

Just for the sake of completeness, I will add that the original name and surname in the Bulgarian alphabet has the form: проф. Васил Стайков (проф. = prof.essor).
Do you know a rose breeder Vasil Angelov from Bulgaria?

Dear MR.Vladimír Ježovič
Kinda Rosen sets seed, but only in dry conditions. If it's wet weather the flower tends to ball.
Kind regards

Hello!
I have not used this rose in breeding since 2009. It has very poor Blackspot resistance so I stopped using it for anything.

Hello Paul,
too bad it's a very nicely colored rose!
But in climatic conditions other than your home,
the rose can thrive. Have you tried it?
Nice evening and thanks! :-)

The flowers are very beautiful, yes. I have never propagated this rose, so its never been grown anywhere but at my place.
