Does any one have clear close-up photos of rose seedlings. The two seed leaves and just the start of a proper leaf. Or with two or four leaves. How long before I know for sure they are roses. I had "help".

If I could I would. My laptop and I are still learning how to do things. I am better with dirt plants and animals not tecnical stuff. These are my first from seed babies. With a Blue Jay [ bird ] helping stir the soil in the pots. thank you again for the lovely photos.

I don't know I rescued five little mistreated roses from a neighbor after they had dug up the 77 to80 year old hedge and BURNED them. My little canes less than 3 ft. responded by growing to 9 ft. with the most deliciously scented pin frilly blooms that scent the air and hold the scent after they are dried. For years. I am guessing some sort of Damask. Once blooming but northern Illinois with a five month growing season they could be anythin before 1933.
