Hello!
I would like to know more about Bourbon roses, especialy about listings on HMF.
1. ARE ALL THE LISTED ROSES STILL IN EXISTENCE?
2. How many are in existence today, and how many are "lost"?
3. What does it mean: HYBRID, TEA, PERPETUAL along with Bourbon? Are these roses different than regular Bourbons?
4. What does it mean: FOUND ROSE?

Thanks to everybody, who will answer my questions "in simple words" - for a beginner and simple bourbon rose enthusiast...

Fexlix David..........

When you visit a rose page, if the rose is known to be in commerce or in a garden, you can click on the BUY FROM tab or the GARDENS tab, which is a good indicator that the rose is still in existance. As for your other questions, I suggest you look the terms up by clicking GLOSSARY on the navigation bar to the left and click on the link to the definition. It's a place to start.

Smiles,
Lyn
