Rose Listing Omission

Blue bubbles

http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/195943/ here is a website with the information including registration numbers! A second one I did not find on the web site was double time, KSN# 3120715-2 hybrid tea rose. Nicely formed blooms with good fragrance. Vigorous and tall with long cutting stems, making them ideal as a bouquet. Striking dark green foliage. Mature Hightower, 4-5 feet. Hybridized by Windmill Rose Reg. of Pan American Nursery Products Inc. Third one double dip, KSN# is the same as double time. Nicely formed blooms withman array of different colors. Vigorous and tall with long cutting stems, making them ideal as a bouquet. Striking dark green foliage. Mature Hightower, 4-5 feet. Hybridized by Windmill Rose Reg. of Pan American Nursery Products Inc.
Thanks! Heather

Royal Radiance

Floribunda Rose, purchased at Home Depot, Card states: Mauve and mauve blend flowers release a delicious, strong raspberry fragrance. Full, high-centered to flat, medium to large blooms. Repeat blooms later in the season.

Thank you for letting us know about the roses you found at the Home Depot. Often these roses are re-named roses of roses that are now out of patent protection. We need more information before we can add them to the HMF database.

Lyn

Would uploading the picture card that came with the rose help?

If it also contains some code name which matches up with something else already in the database, perhaps. It couldn't hurt.

I actuall found out the more common names! Honey perfume instead of southern tenderness and love potion instead of royal radiance.

What you found out was they truly are re-named roses. Both 'Honey Perfume' and 'Love Potion' are in the HMF database. I am hesitant to add the names used by Home Depot as synonyms to the HMF database because both roses are still under US patent protection. Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggg ! and ... I don't know if the new names have been approved by the patent holder.

That is frustrating for the HMF database:) but I am glad I found out the other name so I have the information the HMF provides!
Thanks for your responses!

Southern Tenderness

Floribunda rose, purchased at home depot, per the tag it produces an abundance of fragrant, golden honey-yellow flowers that repeat throughout the season. Deep green foliage contrasts well with blooms. Great cut flowers.
