This is the OP 'Bobbie James' seedling. The yellow foliage in the shot is from a different rose, likely an HT. The foliage on all my BJ seedlings is spotless. I have three remaining seedlings from this set of hips. Another rose has really lovely ruffled petals. New canes on this rose are the size of asparagus stems, at least thumb-thick.

This seedling from 'Compassion' is a nice rebloomer. Shrubby plant so far. I call it 'Absinth'. The bloom is congested with petals and has a hard time opening in this climate (cool, foggy). I want to use it as a pollen parent. The rose in the back is 'Margaret Merrill' For contrast.

'Sparky One' A seedling of 'Climbing Fourth of July'. I'm aiming for a nice red-on-red stripe and this one is very close. I wish the dark red were darker, but I'm happy there's no white.
