"The l´âge bleu Rosenpark contents a growing collection of Old and rare Roses. It´s in Northern Germany, between Hamburg and Lübeck. Planting started in 2007, official opening took place on June 7, 2009. It´s space is about 8000 m2 and all plants are cared for ecologically. Roses are growing together with perennials, vegetabables and other plants in matching "color sites": The yellow to yellow red shades are combined within a "sun downing aerea" for example. In summer it´s open to the public each weekend, but collectors are welcome by appointment additionally (info@l-age-bleu.de). - I´m working all alone, so volunteers are very welcome!
The Blue Garden, my former private one, turned to be a wilderness meanwhile because I had to concentrate on the Rosenpark. Most of the roses are growing there now. Daphne Filberti´s beautiful photos of the Blue Garden are a document of the past. - But the Rosenpark is a kind of "child" of the Blue Garden and has it´s spirit...Therefore it would be great if Daphne allowed to keep her wonderful photos at this site additionally."
