The honoree is Adolph Hermann Blohm (June 23, 1848–March 12, 1930), co-founder with Ernst Voss of the still-in-business shipbuilding firm Blohm & Voss (image from Hansa International Maritime Journal). Per Lambert's catalog, the name of the rose is (and pay attention to the capitalizations) 'Dr. ing. H. Blohm', which signifies "Doctor of engineering Hermann Blohm." Though it's in Lambert's 1918 catalog, he states it there definitely as a 1919 rose; in that catalog he says that it's "like Druschki in growth," and we can consequently suspect that 'Frau Karl Druschki' is one parent.
