Pink. Flowers warm pink. Moderate fragrance. 70 to 95 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Medium, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, cupped, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid, rounded buds.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm). Width: 30" to 3' (75 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b. Can be used for cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew.

Notes:
Susie reports that 'Cottage Rose' has performed incredibly well in London. She has always by instinct picked off only the blooms as they fade (not knowing at the time that you were meant to snip off a bit more!) and it rebloomed almost constantly. Mid-pink fading to a pale pinky-lilac. A bit leggy though, like most of his roses. Hardworking.
