Origin:
Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, 1953).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1955 as 'Concerto'.
Class:
Floribunda, Hybrid Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Geranium-red.  Mild fragrance.  10 to 17 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, reflexed, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
