Gerard Williams. Final Analysis 2000-2001
Katherine McGredy (MACaucklad) McGredy 1996; 'City of Auckland' x 'Lady Rose'; salmon pink flowers; glossy dark green foliage; 63 reports on 81 bushes; 1.2 metres; 7.9 rating. A very high rating on a widely grown rose. All report a healthy, strong and free flowering bush. Flowers can ball in the wet. Most like the colour and the shape of the flowers (exhibition blooms with plenty of petals), but everyone says the bush just flowers and flowers.

Katheryn McGredy (MACaucklad); McGredy 1996; 'City of Auckland' x 'Lady Rose'; salmon pink; 16 reports on 27 bushes; 1-4 years; 1.5 metres; 7.8 rating. Good reports from throughout the country with a high rating. North Otago says good repeat and the flowers have good form and plenty of petals. Kaitaia says a good bloom with a quick repeat and healthy. Manawatu says it has a tidy habit, but it hates the rain. Marlborough says healthy, always in flower, an eyecatcher, outstanding - I love it! North Otago claims it makes lovely cut flowers or show roses, and repeats quickly. Hutt Valley thinks it is the best rose in their garden. Healthy and strong with good repeat. Nicely formed blooms hold well. Some powdery mildew noticed. Another Manawatu grower likes the lovely spiralled blooms. Good repeat and no diseases. Southland says healthy and free flowering, good foliage and keeps well in arrangements.

Gerard Williams. Review of the Newer Roses for the 1998-1999 Season.
Katherine McGredy (MACauckland); McGredy 1996; Salmon pink; 12 reports on 14 bushes; 1-3 years; 1.1 metre; 7.8 rating. Well reported on throughout the country with a very good overall rating. The plant has a good bushy habit with attractive glossy dark green foliage which enhances the lovely warm coral pink colour of the large full flowers. North Otago finds is very healthy with a quick repeat. Waikato say it has lots of pretty flowers on a neat and tidy bush. Golden Bay says it gives lots of basal shoots and has good exhibition form early in the season. A quick repeat but it has taken powdery mildew. Marlborough says it is healthy and always in flower. Te Awamutu says it is healthy, repeats well and the cut flowers last well. Hutt Valley say the lovely frilly flowers make beautiful fully open flowers. A promising rose with good health and plenty of blooms.
