This is an interesting rose and was a “holy grail” of mine for decades prior to me finally obtaining an own root plant in 2024. It’s a shrub in every sense. It spreads by suckers! It also is quite rangy and leggy and there’s more plant than bloom here in Florida. The color is gorgeous.

The Montreal Botanical Garden continues to recommend this rose as resistant to blackspot, powdery mildew, and rust:
