I named this rose to honor my sweet, step mother who died along with my Dad in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. She was a lovely and quiet lady. Her rose is lovely, quiet rose that brings a nice display of blooms, ranging from soft cream with pink blush when they first open to a deep red tone as they are exposed to the sun. The blooms open somewhat cupped, then, they burst open to display their bright yellow stamens.
The plant is fast growing and makes thick, strong canes that can easily hold up the large bloom sprays. The flowers are about 3 inches in a diameter. The foliage is dark and shiny but will develop powdery mildew in the right conditions.
