"Mr. Nash" rose Reviews & Comments

I knew Toni Tichy well; her plant of it CONSUMED her home, and even reached over to a neighbor's rooftop. VERY thick woody canes and a very heavy setter of HUGE hips whose seeds germinated readily. Cheryl Netter in Denver also had a magnificent plant of it. When I lived at 1684 Willow Street in NE Denver I planted one in my west bed fairly close to a plant of 'Doubloons' as after many years of obsessively researching "Mr. Nash" I over and over concluded it was very likely 'Doubloons'. "Mr. Nash" was incredibly cold hardy in Denver, which early in my research made me think it might have been a Brownell climber. Two died in my Tampa yard years ago, but I may buy a third to try here in a Water Wise Container Garden as that approach is affording me great success with several other roses from Denver, plus own root roses in general after 6 years of drought here.
