Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 1999).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1999 as 'Goldelse'.

Bloom:
Golden-yellow - amber, copper highlights, amber reverse. [Amber.]  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium-large, double (17-25 petals), very double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, old-fashioned bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact.  Small, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 20" to 2' (50 to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden or hedge.  Heat tolerant.
