Philip Sutherland. Daisy Dumas (Lady Dumas). When I first saw this rose as a first year in the field I wasn’t all that impressed with its constitution. However, I now confess it was a case of jumping to unwarranted conclusions. The deep green glossy foliage is quite healthy and the blooms are large and fragrant. It is not short on colour, being cerise pink to red with an added touch of yellow. Blooms consist of 20 petals and appear quite frequently. It originated in S.A. (by T. White) and is happy in the heat.
