'Napa Valley' rose Reviews & Comments

I have had this rose for about a decade. It sits at the garden corner, blooms all summer long, and minds its own business. Its a true red, which is why I bought it. It does get superficial blackspot under the lower layers, but not enough to worry about. Its not really a groundcover. Its a squat patio type with decent vigor. I hedge clip it every winter, and thats all it gets for pruning. It had remained at about 1.5' tall x 2.25' wide every single year here. I would not call this rose spectacular, but I think its a great corner or perennial/annual bedding plant.
