The full high-centered, red and yellow bicolor, slightly fragrant, 1 1/4-inch double blooms are abundantly produced on a bushy, rounded plant with leathery foliage. Ralph S. Moore is the originator of this Miniature rose cultivar with its bright new colour combination. The parentage is 'Little Darling' x 'Westmont',
Book (1972) p65. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. New Roses. Over the Rainbow Miniature. (Moore). A vivid red and yellow flower with thirty or more pointed petals. The bloom is vivid cerise-red with a yellow reverse and yellow at the base of the inner petals. Bushy, free flowering plants of medium height and very good foliage. One of the most colourful little plants imaginable.
p77. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. Miniatures. Over the Rainbow is really dazzling with red and yellow predominating. Easily the most vivid miniature we have ever seen, and a good plant to back it up as well.
