"Variety denomination: `CHEwgoldtop`.
ORIGIN OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a new and distinct variety of a climber rose plant named `CHEwgoldtop` which was originated by me by crossing the variety `CHEwarvel` (Laura Ford aka King Tut), U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,012, with the variety `BEEsian` (Amanda), (unpatented). "
Aug 2010 this climber is about 7.5ft tall ( I'm 6ft ) in front of the egg store at Pastorino's Farm in Half Moon Bay, norCAL. It had dark leathery leaves with NO mildew powder. The roses appeared at the top in single 'HT' form with a nice scent in a soft 'buff yeller' color, I could almost taste it!Growing along a north-facing wall, SFA looks very healthy. Unfortunately, they don't sell this climber there ! ? !
