I found this rose a bit of a slow starter. It took some years to grow up to about 4 to 5 m. But it is in bloom most of the year and even now in mid-December after the first mild frosts. The scent is sweet and quite noticable. It is standing on the southwest side of the house and has survived some pretty cold winters with down to minus twenty degrees here in Germany.
