    After 9 months in the ground, Naga Belle is lovely, has showy maroon new growth in addition to beautiful flowers. So far, the flowers are reminiscent of the 'Carefree Beauty' parent. Excellent shrubby shape. Appears to be mildew resistant in a mildew-prone garden in interior southern California. It defoliates easily when experiencing sudden southern California heat waves, then refoliates. Canes don't sunscald when bared in this way, even when it's 116 F. Does form some OP hips.

    Extremely BS resistant in my zone 8b GA garden. Vigorous, long stems.
